Synchronous small generators

Synchronous small generator is a device that converts mechanical energy into alternating current, it can be divided into two types: rotary armature type and rotating pole type, although the structure is different, but the basic principle of their work is the relative movement of magnetic field and wire, cutting magnetic field lines, generating induced electromotive force, synchronous small generator is composed of stator and rotor.

The stator also includes the supporting base, the stator core of the magnetic conduction, the stator winding of the conductive stator and other parts, which is the place where the induced electromotive force and current are generated, also known as the armature. The rotor is mainly composed of the rotor core and the magnetic pole windings, which is the part of the small generator that establishes the magnetic field. The magnetic poles of synchronous small generators have been designed to be of appropriate shapes, so that the magnetic field strength between the stator and rotor is approximately sinusoidal when the small generator is working.

"Synchronization" means that the rotation speed of the rotor of a small generator is the same as the rotation speed of the stator magnetic field. Brushless synchronous generators are often used as power generation devices in small generator sets. The stator part of the brushless synchronous small generator includes: base, stator core, stator winding, end cover, bearing cover, stator of AC exciter, etc.; The rotor part comprises: rotor core,

Magnetic pole windings, rotating shafts, bearings, fans, AC exciter armatures and rotary rectifiers, etc.
