What Are The Three Steps To Proper Use Of A Piston Pump

1. It is necessary to make the following preparations before starting:

1. Check whether each part is normal.

2. Whether the steering of the experimental motor is accurate (with the direction indicated on the pump body - clockwise R and counterclockwise L), the experimental time should be short, so as to avoid damage to the grinding parts of the plunger pump due to liquid-free smoothness.

3. The high-temperature type should be preheated first, and the heating rate should be 50°C/hour to ensure that all parts are heated evenly.

4. Open the exhaust valve to fill the entire pump body, and close the exhaust valve when it is full.

 

2. Start:

1. Close the pump outlet valve;

2. Fully open pump inlet valve;

3. Start the motor and check whether the pump is running normally;

4. Adjust the opening of the outlet valve to the required working conditions, if the user is equipped with a flow meter or pressure gauge at the outlet of the pump, the pump should be adjusted by the outlet valve opening to make the pump work at the rated point listed in the functional parameter table, if the user does not have a flow meter or pressure gauge installed at the outlet of the pump, the opening of the outlet valve should be adjusted;

5. Check the leakage of the shaft seal, the leakage of the mechanical seal should be less than 3 drops/min under normal conditions;

6. Check the motor, the temperature rise at the bearing is ≤ 80°C.

 

3. Shutdown:

1. Close the outlet pipeline valve;

2. Cut off the power supply;

3. Close the inlet pipeline valve;

4. If you park for a long time, the liquid in the pump should be drained.

If there are impurities inside the hydraulic pump, the cavity will be damaged quickly, and the high-pressure piston pump and other idling without smooth oil (hydraulic oil) will also be damaged by dry grinding.
