The impact of the smaller inlet pipe of the pump on the pump

The inlet pipeline becomes smaller and has the following main effects on the self-priming pump: the flow rate of the pump will increase, the overflow loss will also increase, the water storage in the pump body will be reduced, in addition, there may be vortex, there will be serious cavitation problems, the outlet flow rate will be reduced, and even the pump will not be able to suck water; the actual power of the pump motor will be significantly reduced after the inlet flow rate is reduced, resulting in the pump can not work normally.

If the outlet pipe of the pneumatic diaphragm pump is smaller, it is easy to cause damage to the diaphragm.

Note: Generally, if the pump of the pipeline centrifugal pump principle needs to intercept the flow, please install a valve at the pump outlet, and adjust the flow rate by opening the valve small, if the actual working conditions the head is too low, the pump head is high, you can also open a small valve to reduce the current to avoid the motor burning due to overcurrent operation. Please be sure to match the corresponding pipes according to the factory standard diameter, so as to achieve the normal working point and avoid causing major losses and unnecessary troubles.
